Our recent work is featured on the cover of the second issue of Newton by Cell Press!

The cover art is a visualization of an optically induced orbital (d–d) transition in the van der Waals antiferromagnet FePS₃ — a fundamental excitation in correlated quantum materials. Using time- and angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy, we were able to reveal these transitions for the first time, mapping their fingerprints in momentum space and tracing their excitation and relaxation pathways. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.newton.2025.100019
